These are one of the most sensibily designed panniers we've seen. The main compartment is made from a single wrap-around piece of fabric which forms the top flap, back, bottom and front, so there are no structural seams except at the end gussets. An aluminum stay across the top holds the load even. An inner sleeve holds a closed-cell foam pad to protect the llama. Inner flaps and adjustable straps close the compartment while the three exterior straps support and compress the load. The roomy side pockets have vertical zippers for easy access. Straps at the top of the panniers link together for secure top-loading and double as carrying straps.

These panniers work well with any frame pack systems. Pannier dimensions are 22" x 14" x 8". A unique feature of these panniers, which has proven effective over many miles and years, is that breast collar and britching straps (which are removable) attach to the panniers, rather than to the saddle, to keep the load stable going up and down steep trails.
