| #1012 The Super Rake The double row of offset teeth on the plastic rake head gathers pellets efficiently. Very light-weight, wooden handle. This rake, when used in a sweeping motion, in an arc, works remarkably to catch the pellets scattered at the edge of manure piles. It usually gets every pellet in one sweep. It is also excellent for raking pellets out of grass. For best results, it should be used more like a broom, lightly, especially on hard, compacted surfaces, and pulled more like a rake in grass. Using the Super Rake along with the Great Bean Collector turns what is normally a three- or four-stage procedure into a shorter two-stage process, and makes it easier as well! No llamas or alpacas? If you need a great rake for raking leaves, berries or other non-llama stuff, the Super Rake's "smooth strokes" were deemed impressive in the Wall Street Journal's "Catalog Critic" (9/27/02): "...a wooden-handled tool with double rows of curved, clawlike plastic tines. The first row loosens leaves and the second row thrusts them up and forward. ...it gets around flower beds easily, and for $18, it's our Best Value." NOTE: Will be shipped in two packages. Special shipping costs apply.
